Bio

Michael Johnstone is a web strategist who advises clients on the best ways to use web trends and technologies to address their business needs.

Michael is an avid entrepreneur with strong technical sense and a love of nature. He is currently serving as president of eLocomotive. At eLocomotive, he manages a staff and just-in-time workforce pursuing eLocomotive’s goal of giving businesses motive power through web applications. eLocomotive, helps clients incorporate the internet into their business with strategy, business application design, and operational planning. Johnstone provides internet strategy and oversees production and implementation.

Because of his interest in sustainability and his concern for the environment, Mr. Johnstone participates on the Texas Clean Air Working Group as a representative of the Texas State Inspection Association.

Before founding eLocomotive, Mr. Johnstone worked as a Technical Trainer at the Unisys managed services center in Austin, Texas and also served as an internal ISO 9000 auditor. In addition to his time at Unisys, he also spent time as a Technical Consultant for Management Plus, Inc.
